Kamala Harris is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party

The US Constitution is a remarkable document. The rules it sets out are filled with wisdom and bonded with the spiritual investment—the blood, sweat, and tears—of so many brave, courageous people who make up the story of the USA. That spiritual investment collided with the Constitution's foresight and a political crisis in a moment with only one solution for our future: Kamala Harris.
I was frustrated when I read that Joe Biden had acquiesced to the demands of the political donor class. As I said to you on the show last week, it seemed crazy to select a presidential nominee that primary voters had not voted on, especially in an election about democracy.
And yet that is exactly where we were headed last week. Only a single person could walk us out of that crisis, and only one solution would not forsake the Constitution and the spiritual investment of the generations of Americans since this great nation was born.
To arrive at that person and this perfect solution would require a singular president of exceptional character, a devout patriot blessed with the type of integrity you don't commonly see, one that would put country above party, country above self.
There is no doubt Kamala Harris is ready for this moment. And so are we!
She has quietly evolved as a genuine leader in our troubled times. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are leaders of the highest order—absolute heroes. But even with this incredible transition and a ticket that will be both inspiring and determined, America is still facing a crisis. There is nothing normal about Donald Trump's candidacy, and the threat he poses to America is unknown and immeasurable—even if he loses.
America will still need to tap into this spiritual well of perseverance to continue its current trajectory. There will be many more surprises in the next 105 days. This is definitely no time to rest on our laurels, no time for overconfidence. We have the fight of our lives ahead of us, but if Kamala Harris's nomination tells us something, we are on the right path.
